The Tiger Chain Blocks are manufactured from high quality steel offering a lightweight but robust and an exceptionally strong hand chain hoist at a competitive price.

The design of this lifting hoist has been developed over a number of years putting emphasis on operator safety and hoist durability.

Such features allow the manual chain hoists to meet the requirements for use by the Ministry of Defence mining and also approved / certified to be used in Deep coal mining, meeting the requirements of British Coal and commonly being used by the the UK Coal mining industry.

This hand chain hoist is also extensively used in the Offshore Oil industry.

All these industries operate in extreme environments where reliability and safety are paramount and for this reason we At Liftingsafety are now selling this range of hand chain hoists.

The hand lifting hoist hoist range meets and supersedes the latest British and European Standard EN13157 looking to achieve a light load test no greater than 2% of the rated capacity of the hoist.

  • Range from 0.5t to 35.0t.
  • Ideal for locations where headroom is limited.
  • Twin bar or single bar trolley options.
  • Extended beam width available.
  • Operating temperatures of -40° to +80°C (temperature range of -60° to +80° available as an option).
  • Meet and exceed all the requirements within BS EN 13157: 2004+A1:2009 and AS1418.2.

Offered as an alternative to the YaleLift 360 though not as compact. This Hackett Hand chain block with push trolley or geared travel (Chain drive)  is good quality product that is very serviceable, not the best looking on the market though 'Does the job' at the right price. Definitely do to be confused with the Cheap and cheerful far east imports!
