You can find lifting capacity options (WLL - Working Load Limit) online. They range from 95kg to 125 tonnes for a single M150 bolt. For twelve M48 bolts, the limit is 250 tonnes.

This includes DIN standard eye bolts and nuts, BS4278 standard collar eye bolts, and ISO3266 eye bolts, which are similar to BS4278. It also includes EN1677-1 lifting points, long shank eye bolts, dynamo type eye bolts, and eye bolts with built-in oval links or rings.
For angular loading or multi-point lifts, the most common type of eye bolt is a swivel lifting point. Examples include the RUD VLBG-Plus, the RFID-equipped Yoke 211, and the uniquely serialised Codipro DSR. People often prefer these for this type of lift. They rate for their full capacity even at 90° angles. They can also rotate automatically to match the loading angle.
In contrast, you must de-rate a standard collared eye bolt by up to 75%. It must also be within 5° of the plane of the eye.

Our stainless steel lifting eye bolts, for example, are ideal for environments where corrosion could be a concern.
In their standard form, they are based on the traditional BS 4278 or ISO 3266 collared eye bolt, but as technology has developed, they have become available as the increasingly popular EN 1677-1 swivel type. This type allows the eye of the lifting point to rotate automatically to turn in the direction of the lift or pull.
A swivelling stainless steel lifting point is stronger than a regular collared eyebolt. This is due to its special swivel feature. This applies to all EN 1677-1 type lifting points, not just stainless ones. In fact, you must rate standard eyebolts lower for lifts that are not straight up and down.
DIN 580 eye bolts, DIN 582 eye nuts, and BS3974 bow nuts are also among our offerings. They all have larger lifting eyes than a standard BS4278/ISO3266 eye bolt. However, BS 4278 and ISO 3266 eyebolts have lower safe working loads.
