Pneumatic Wire Rope Air Winches / Hoists for Lifting and/or Pulling
Pneumatic (compressed air) operated wire rope hoists and pneumatic winches that are used for pulling, lifting, holding and tension loads.
Lifting Safety’s compressed air winches are steel wire rope pulling winches and lifting hoists from premium lifting equipment manufacturers, like Yale, Gebuwin, Hadef, Pullmaster, and Tractel.
For pneumatic steel wire rope winches and pneumatic lifting hoists, the following should be considered when choosing a product to suit your application.
Does the customer intend to use the machine for lifting materials or for pulling goods?
The factor of safety for lifting requirements is 5:1, though FOS for pulling is lower, and therefore it is dangerous to use pulling winches cannot be used for lifting applications. Additional safety features may also be fitted as standard for lifting winches.
What lifting or pulling capacity is needed?
What wire rope length is required?
Are there any environmental aspects that must be considered? e.g. offshore, saliferous and corrosive environment, or Atex classified explosion risk areas.
