Fork Mounted Man Riding Baskets
Forklift truck-mounted man-riding, and access platforms are used for the lifting of a person or persons up to a raised working area where it may not be practical or suitable to use a ladder or cherry picker.
All of our man-riding baskets are also load rated, which means they can also be used for the transportation and/or raising of a materials load to the required working area. When working at height using a man basket, all persons on the access platform must have adequate fall protection equipment in accordance with the working at height regulations.
A Fork-mounted man-riding basket can also commonly be known as a forklift cage, fork truck cage, forklift safety basket, people/person lifting basket or a fork truck access platform
A man-riding safety basket can be designed to your exact specifications to suit your needs. For example, you may need a cage or basket which can carry four people, and you may need to access it via a side gate, or you may need the base to be raised above the norm.

From £2,193.75Crane Slung Man-Riding Access Basket comes supplied with chains, one safety harness and overhead guard. The basket has been designed to be used either slung from the hook of an overhead crane. Available in either 2 or 6 person models: 2 person, either side gate or through bars. 6 person only comes with side gate but with different platform sizes. The overall base size of the unit is 1500mm wide x 1100mm deep. The unit will have a fully meshed back panel, and the three other sides will be meshed to the middle rail. Entry to the platform is via an inwards opening gate on the one 1100mm side. Gate is self-closing and has a gate arrester to prevent the gate being opened when the platform is elevated.
