Overhead Crane Automatic Drum Lifter for Lifting Steel or Plastic L Ring Drums, 500kg Capacity

500kg capacity automatic unit for lifting steel or plastic ’L' ring drums from 550mm to 620mm diameter. Can be under-slung from a forklift truck or overhead crane hoist.

The drum lifter is lowered over the drum in the ‘Locked Open’ position, when the activation bars touch the drum it automatically shifts the lock to the ‘Unlocked’ position, the grab is then raised and closes around the drum to clamp it securely.

The lifter will not release the drum until it is lowered fully to the ground and the activation bars automatically shift the lock to the ‘Locked Open’ position, the grab is then raised clear of the drum.
