We offer many different types of lifting chain, anchor chain and stainless steel chains other than listed below, so if you are unable to find details of the chain that you are looking for, then please do not hesitate to get in touch.

  • Grade M (40) Calibrated Short Link Chain, manufactured to EN818-3. Self Colour finish.
  • Grade 8 (also known as grade 80 or grade T) short link lifting chain manufactured in accordance with EN818-2.
  • Grade 10 / 100 lifting chain with a higher capacity to link size ratio / weight when compared to grade 8 chain.
  • Grade 40 galvanised / 50 stainless / 50 316L stainless steel pump chains, generally with larger links every metre.

We also have a wide range of complete chain sling assemblies (various chain grades), grade 80 (grade 8) chain components and grade 100 (grade 10) chain components available online.

Layout

Grade 'T' (8/80) alloy steel lifting chain specifically designed for chain slings, chain conforms to BS EN 818-2. WLL 1.5 tonne to 31.5 tonne This alloy steel chain is manufactured specifically for use in chain slings for lifting purposes. The chain is heat treated for tensile strength and resistance to wear whilst also allowing for shock absorption. The chain is easily identifiable with "MA8" embossed at meter intervals.

Grade 10 / 100 blue coloured, alloy steel lifting chain specifically designed for chain slings. WLL Range 1.4 tonne to 40 tonne

Our Grade 100 Alloy Steel Chain is manufactured specifically for use in chain slings for lifting purposes.
The chain is heat treated for tensile strength and resistance to wear whilst also allowing for shock absorption. The chain is easily identifiable with Scaw logo, chain batch number and Gr100 embossed at meter intervals. Operating temperature range -40°C to +200°C.
