Yale TPM load lifting magnets are ideal tools for easy, quick and thus economical transport of heavy objects made from ferro-magnetic material. The Small dimensions of the units provide a wide number of additional applications. The load is not affected mechanically which allows lifting of flat as well as round material. The efficient magnet body provides strong lifting capacity at low dead weight. The permanent magnets do not require electric energy and will present only minor residual magnetism after switching off. Switching ON and OFF operations are easily accomplished by turning a locking lever. In activated condition the hand lever will be safely locked and thus prevent unintended demagnetising.

Yale braked beam trolleys fitted with a manual brake (Track Clamp) available as push travel or geared travel (chain drive).

The locking beam trolley incorporates a threaded locking pin connected to a chain wheel. A loop of hand 'pull chain' wraps over the chain wheel and down to the operator below. Pulling the hand chain turns the threaded locking pin. Pull the chain clockwise to lock the pin against the steel beam (put the brake on), turning anticlockwise releases the pin (takes off the brake).

When the trolley is fitted to the beam the user adjusts the 'Take-up screws' to approx 1mm from the underside of the lifting beam. When the locking pin is tightened the 'Take-up' pins will be forced to clamp against the underside of beam, resulting in a three point clamp.
