William Hackett Chain Blocks, Hook Suspended
William Hackett has been a professional supplier of lifting equipment for decades, with one of their main range of products being the Hackett hand chain block available here as the hook suspended version from 500kg capacity to 50 tonnes.
Hackett’s hook-suspended chain hoists are of a lightweight, compact and robust design with cast steel 'ribbed' safety catches. They feature a galvanised hand chain complete with a unique chain joiner and twin pawl or quad pawl mechanism. The load chain is grade 8 (80) anti-corrosive, though 10 (100) is available on request.
Every hoist is tested to 1.5 times the SWL after assembly, and we offer a comprehensive range of spare parts to ensure a long life. We aim to be very competitive with our pricing for Hackett’s chain hoists and look forward to the possibility that we may receive your enquiry!
New for 2026 is the specially designed WH QT series, another in the William Hackett C4 hoist range, but the uniqueness of the QT series is that they have been specifically designed for quieter operation, for such areas of application where ear defenders or hearing protection cannot be worn, or for confined spaces, for example. Looking for a Direct Trolley Mounted Chain Hoist or a Stand-Alone Beam Trolley?
Not to worry, we have lots and lots for you to choose from.
We offer manual hoists with beam trolleys, electric hoists with a beam trolley, or even a range of air hoists with a built-in trolley.
If you don't necessarily need a hoist built into the trolley, for example, if headroom isn't an issue, then we have a stand-alone beam trolley range that a hook-suspended hoist can easily hook into.
