Hook Suspended Chain Blocks

Quick Ref: CN-1245
Chain blocks are hoists that are manually operated by the pulling of a hand chain and can otherwise be known as a block and tackle or simply a manual chain hoist.

Our hook-suspended hand chain hoists are portable pieces of lifting equipment often referred to by other names such as a manual chain block, hand chain block or block and tackle.

Our chain block product line is available in capacities starting from 125kg all of the way up to 50 tonnes with 16 chain falls as standard and then up to a staggering 100-tonne safe working load on request.

Generally, the preference for a manual chain hoist over a powered chain block can come in the form of a few factors, such as a power supply might not be readily available, the job might be so infrequent that powered lifting isn't needed, or as another example, where a manual chain block allows for such fine moments or tolerances that simply just wouldn't be possible with an electric chain hoist, e.g. bridge building or machine assembly where millimetre precision is required.

We offer a vast range of chain blocks manufactured by leading top-quality lifting equipment manufacturers including Yale, Tiger, Hadef, Pfaff, Tractel, Ingersoll Rand, William Hackett and many more. Please feel free to contact our sales team if you need any assistance in choosing the best chain hoist to suit your budget and/or pulling/lifting application.
