• Forged carbon steel hook design will not fracture under excessive load.
• Advanced-design overload protection is standard on the CX to enhance worker safety and protect the hoist against excessive overloading.
• Chain twist checker as standard on the 1-tonne 2-fall model - This unique feature allows the operator to quickly check that the bottom block has not been passed/rotated between the load chain strands, causing a twist in the load chains.

Twist Check for the CX010

Provides increased safety and chain block protection. The Twist Checker is standard equipment on the CX010. It allows a quick and easy check if the chain is twisted.

Compact Design Aluminium Housing

High-quality aluminium housing without protruding bolts. Ergonomic, lightweight and minimised risk of injury. Heat-treated steel frame with bearings for gear and load wheel. Ensures stable and safe rotation of gearbox and pinion shaft.

Lightweight and Portable

With a net weight of 2.4 kg, a minimum headroom of 217 mm and a load capacity of 250 kg, the Kito CX003 manual chain hoist is one of the smallest and lightest chain hoists available. The device has an operating force of only 14.7 daN, making it one of the easiest hoists to operate in the world.

Overload Protection as Standard

Overload protection is standard on the CX. Prevents dangerous situations in the event of incorrect operation of the chain hoist.

Hook-eye Safety Latch

The upper and lower hooks have a particularly large inner diameter and sufficient space for slings. The hook jaw safety device with guided hook interlock on the upper and lower hooks prevents slings from slipping out unintentionally.

Nickel-plated Load Chain

Kito is the only manufacturer in the world that nickel-plates its load chain electrolessly. The Kito high-quality load chain protects against mechanical damage. The quality class T, version V 1000 N/mm², is above the minimum requirement of 800 N/mm². The symbiosis of hoist and chain ensures the best possible safety, durability and efficiency. The load chain is characterised by an excellent permanent bending resistance, a special surface hardness, a prevention of hydrogen embrittlement and a high tensile strength as well as a very high breaking stress. The load chain can withstand operating temperatures from -40 °C to +200 °C.

Fine-toothed Precision Gears

Millimetre-precise lifting movements and low manual operating force thanks to fine-toothed precision gearing. The gear wheels and the load pinion are cold forged, machined and heat treated. This ensures maximum resistance and material strength.

Optional Self-Locking Safety Hook

The self-closing Kito safety hook locks automatically as soon as a load is suspended. To release the load, the operator must manually unlock the hook. This prevents unintentional opening. The safety hook ensures full safety during lifting and lowering, as the safety flap cannot be removed.
