Trolley Mounted Chain Blocks
A trolley mounted chain block is the combination of a manual chain hoist and beam trolley that are directly mounted to each other, that in most cases will decrease the closed height of a hoist, thus allowing for increased headroom and higher raised hook heights. This type of hoist often becomes of interest where space between the beam and the achievable lift height needs to be maximised or is restricted.
The beam trolley aspect of a trolley-hoist typically can be supplied as either a manual push/pull travel or as geared travel (pull/hand chain driven). Electric or pneumatically powered trolleys also exist, but these would typically be seen with the hoisting unit also being electrically or air powered (a manual chain block would be extremely uncommon to see mounted to a powered beam trolley).
Having an integral trolley means that the lifting hoist and load can be manoeuvred along a lifting beam; low headroom and ultra-low headroom versions are also available within our range that allow the hook to raised even further, closer to the underside of the lifting beam, maximising every possible bit of space.

More About Trolley Hoists and Chain Blocks with Beam Trolleys
All of the trolley mounted chain blocks that we have on offer are from world reknown lifting equipment manufacturers and can generally be supplied with any lifting height that you require (some limitations apply, but you would also want to take in to consideration the ratio between hand chain pulled and the amount of lift achieved - for long lift heights, an electric hoist or air hoist might be more favourable to your operatives).
Like hook suspended chain blocks, integrated low headroom trolley chain hoists are designed to lift a load, then move the load along a runway lifting beam; manual lift with push or geared travel reducing manual handling. The integrated trolley is low headroom (or very low headroom) and can be adjusted to suit the desired lifting beam (limitations apply, but generally the trolley will cover a predefined minimum and maximum beam width).
As with a standard hook suspension chain block, various options, upgrades and features are available. For example, in a corrosion resistant finish, with stainless steel or zinc plated load chain or hand chains, or atex certified with spark resisant features for potentially explosive environments such as oil rigs.
