In the ATEX chain hoist with geared beam trolley configuration, the standard top hook of the chain hoist is removed and replaced with a bespoke suspension plate. This allows the push beam trolley to directly support the hoist, significantly reducing lost headroom and maximising the available height of lift. The integrated design ensures the hoist remains permanently attached to the trolley, improving operational efficiency and preventing use outside approved ATEX applications.
The WH ATEX C4 ATEX chain hoist with beam trolley fully complies with ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU and Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. All components have been thoroughly analysed to identify potential ignition sources. Fast-moving components, such as ratchet pawls, are engineered using advanced surface treatment technology to eliminate spark risk, ensuring safe operation in explosive atmospheres.
This ATEX chain hoist with a geared beam trolley is fitted with copper-coated trolley wheels, a bottom hook, a load chain, a chain stripper, rollers, and a chain anchor. These spark-resistant components are designed to reduce the risk of ignition, making the system suitable for demanding industrial environments.
Because of its ATEX certification, this manual chain hoist and integrated beam trolley are ideally suited for use in:
