Push Travel Trolley-Hoist Combination
The William Hackett Combined Block and Chain Hoists are designed, manufactured, and proof load tested in the UK. Each unit is supplied fully assembled and ready for installation. In this configuration, the standard top hook of the chain hoist is removed and replaced with a purpose-designed hanging plate. This bespoke plate enables direct suspension from the trolley crossbars, minimising lost headroom and maximising lifting height.
This version, the WH C4 CH PT is the plain push travel variant, but a hand chain driven geared travel trolley version is also available, the WH C4 CH GT. This push travel version doesn't have the second hand chain that drives the beam trolley movement; it only has a single hand chain, which controls the raising and lowering of the hoist hook.

Applications
Combined (integrated) hoists are engineered with the chain hoist permanently mounted to the trolley, eliminating the traditional top hook connection. This design increases the effective height of lift and ensures the hoist remains dedicated to its installed position, preventing relocation for alternative rigging tasks.
The hoist and trolley are classified as a single integrated unit and supplied under one serial number, simplifying asset management and traceability.
These units are specifically intended for use on runway beams and are ideally suited to factories and manufacturing facilities. Typical applications include lifting and traversing dies, molds, tooling, and other production components.
