This single leg fall arrest safety lanyard comes with an elasticated leg. This decreases the hanging slack, which can help to reduce trip hazards and entanglement.
An industry standard, and usually the minimum equipment issued/required with a harness for anyone working at height.
This lanyard should be used when the operative is working from a static position, connected to a fixed anchor point.
The shock absorber pack will deploy in the event of a fall limiting the impact force on the user.
This safety lanyard must be used in conjunction with a safety harness.
Fittings: 1 x 17mm steel screwgate karabiner (RGK1) at the shock pack / harness end as standard, but this can be replaced by any of the below EN362 connectors. The other end can be supplied with the same choice of connectors.
Max arrest force: <6kN
Features: Fitted with shock absorber pack
Length(s): *1.05-1.4m (up to 140kg user) or 1.15-1.8m (up to 100kg user)
