The gate opening of the RGK10 means that this hook is normally used for clipping directly into a dee ring on a harness.

Normally fitted to fall arrest blocks or fixed lanyards as an alternative to a twist-lock karabiner. This snap hook can be built-in to any Ridgegear lanyard.

The double action snap closure on this device means that it cannot be accidentally.
