RGL8 Twin Leg Rope Fall Arrest Lanyard
More from:
Ridgegear

The RGL8 is a twin leg lanyard that has been deisgned for fall arrest applications and is produced using 11mm kernmantle rope with machine stitched connection eyes at each end.

The extra leg allows progression between anchor points by means of double clipping, and also optimum safety by ensuring the user is always connected. The shock absorber pack will deploy in the event of a fall limiting the impact force on the user.

This safety lanyard must be used in conjunction with a EN361 safety harness.

An industry standard, and usually the minimum equipment issued/required with a harness for anyone working at height. This system is generally used for tower climbing, steel erecting, scaffolding and maintenance to open structures.

Specifications

  • Accreditation: EN 355:2002
  • Material: 11mm kernmantle nylon rope
  • Fittings: 1 x 17mm steel screwgate karabiner (RGK1) at the shock pack / harness end as standard, but this can be replaced by any of the below EN362 connectors. The other ends can be supplied with the same choice of connectors.

  • Max fall arrest force: <6kN
