Electric Travel Beam Trolley

The Yale VTE beam trolley is the standard electric trolley that is fitted directly to all Yale electric hoist units that have powered travel. This product, however, the Yale VTE-U, is slightly different in that it has a special suspension bar where the hoist unit would be directly mounted to on the standard VTE trolley, and this suspension bar then has a shackle fitted. This shackle allows for the connection of your lifting means, typically a hook suspended electric chain hoist (it's uncommon to have an electric trolley with a manual chain block). 

The VTE-U trolley can be supplied with or without a low-voltage pendant control for instances where you would want to wire the trolley to your own electrical control systems or to an electric hoist's controls so that there is only one pendant. i.e. Buying a VTE-U beam trolley with LVC (low voltage controls) and then a hook suspended electric hoist separately would mean that you would have two separate pendant controls: one for the hoist and one for the VTE-U trolley.

Specially recommended for loads over 1000 kgs, for transporting over long distances, and/or for frequent use.

Suitable for almost all hoists with a suspension hook due to Yale’s universal shackle connection.

Travel motor with worm gear transmission ensures smooth start and self-braking - a separate motor brake is not required.

NOTE: These trolleys are not designed for passenger elevation applications and must not be used for this purpose!

• Motors protected to IP 55 against dust and water jets. Push-button pendant control IP65.

• Wheels are manufactured from fracture-proof steel. Smooth running due to machined surfaces and ball-bearing mounting. Cambered wheel profile suitable for flat and inclined beam profiles.
• Anti-drop and anti-tilt devices as standard.
• Easily adjustable to fit a wide range of beam widths and profiles due to threaded load bars.
• Rubber buffers are available as an optional extra.
• Travel limit switches are also available.
• Shackle supplied as standard with a universal fitting.
