Master Rings and Master Links for Lifting Applications
Our range of master rings and master links provides reliable connection points between the crane hook and lifting sling assembly. Designed primarily for use with single and two-leg chain slings, these lifting components are available in a wide selection of grades, sizes and working load limits to suit different lifting applications. The range includes products from leading manufacturers including William Hackett, Crosby, Gunnebo and Cromox, with options available for standard industrial lifting through to specialist offshore and subsea applications.
Grade 8 and Grade 10 Master Links
The range includes Grade 8 and Grade 10 master links suitable for a variety of chain sling configurations. Grade 8 master links are available for lifting chains from 6mm to 32mm, while Grade 10 master links manufactured to EN 1677-4 are available for chain sizes from 6mm to 36mm, with working load limits extending up to 75 tonnes. Oversized master links are also available where a larger internal dimension is required for single- and double-leg chain slings. Larger masterlinks such as the Crosby A342 are also available to suit wire rope slings or synthetic slings with capacity up to 179 tonnes as standard, or there's the offshore master-link that has a huge 250 tonne capacity.
Heavy-Duty and High-Capacity Master Rings
For demanding lifting operations, the range includes Crosby alloy and welded master links and high-capacity Gunnebo master links. Available working load limits extend from smaller lifting applications through to very high-capacity requirements, including Crosby forged alloy master links with WLLs up to 179 tonnes and Grade 100 welded master links with capacities up to 125 tonnes. Options with engineered flats are also available to provide compatibility with different lifting and crane hook configurations.
Offshore, Subsea and Specialist Master Links
Specialist offshore and subsea master rings are available for applications where certified lifting equipment is required for demanding environments. The HA Master Link OS+ range is certified to a number of international standards, including DNV 2.7-1, DNV 2.7-3, BS EN ISO 10855-2, EN 1677-4 and ASME B30.26, with WLLs available from 4.1 tonnes up to 250 tonnes. Zinc Tough versions are also available for applications requiring enhanced protection in harsh operating environments.
Stainless Steel Master Rings
For applications requiring corrosion resistance, the range includes Cromox stainless steel master rings and master links manufactured from Grade 60 stainless steel. These are suitable for single and two-leg chain slings and are available for chain sizes from 4mm up to 32mm, with WLLs up to 24 tonnes. Stainless steel master links can be particularly suitable for environments where resistance to corrosion and contamination is an important consideration.
