Lodestar Electric Hoist by CM
The Columbus McKinnon (CM) Lodestar hoist is a tough and durable electric chain hoist, designed to keep working in the most arduous applications. The Lodestar is recognised and proven within the hire industry as the number one electric hoist, where high duty, combined with long lifting heights, is required. The CM Lodestar has a proven reputation as the solution for industrial strength lifting.
Standard operating voltage: 110V 1ph 50Hz, 230V 1ph 50Hz, and 400V 3ph 50Hz are all readily available.

*Please note that if a Lodestar is supplied with a chain collector bag, then the hoist's upper limit switch is preset to achieve a maximum raised hook height equal to the bottom of the chain container, to avoid load interference with the chain container.

The CM Lodestar (sometimes spelt slightly differently, as loadstar, but also originally brought to the UK by Yale, so also may be referred to as a Yale Lodestar) is manufactured by CM and is a very top-level, truly excellent quality single-phase or three-phase electric hoist with thousands of hoists being supplied over decades. The lodestar range is supplied in the UK to suit either single-phase 110V or 230V, 3-phase 400/415V power supplies and is available with lifting capacities starting from 250kg incrementally increasing up to 3000kg. As standard, a Lodestar would be supplied with a top hook suspension point, but can also be supplied with a push/pull, geared travel or electric beam trolley; when supplied fitted to an electric trolley, the hoist will only have a single pendant control to control both the trolley and the Lodestar hoist, rather than one for the hoist and one for the trolley, it can however be supplied in this way, if required, for example, in those instances where you might want to use the Lodestar on a beam for one job, but then hooked in to a beam clamp for the next. Overall, the Lodestar is a very robust hoist that was built with the hire industry in mind, where it continues to remain a powerhouse.
