Like a traditional pulley block, the manually applied force of the stainless steel chain hoist is multiplied through the chain mechanism. A built-in braking system prevents uncontrolled load lowering, while the hermetically sealed brake and gear units provide additional protection against contamination.
As a result, the Cromox stainless steel hoist is ideally suited for cleanroom environments and hygienic applications. Notably, it is the world's first hoist made entirely from stainless steel to be fully designed and manufactured in Germany.
