EQ Series Electric Hoists from Kito
The Kito "EQ Series" Electric Chain Hoist is equipped with an Inverter, which can switch the control between mechanical and electrical, whilst keeping its conventional rigidity and high functions.
In addition to the safety functions such as the overload limiter, friction clutch and upper-lower limit switch, Push Buttons have been redesigned to allow prolonged use with ease.

“No-load High-speed” function
1.3 times faster lifting speed at a maximum of 30% of the nominal load. Due to its design, the EQS010IS even lifts 1.8 times faster at a maximum of 30% of the nominal load.
Two lifting speeds thanks to inverter
A fast and slow lifting speed, precise positioning and reduced load swing ensure increased safety as well as easy handling.
Pull-rotor brake
The chain hoist has an extremely durable cylinder anchor brake, which has already proven to be very reliable in the past. As expected, up to two million operations can be performed.
Low maintenance
The EQ electric chain hoist is without a transformer, electromagnetic contactors and electromagnetic brakes. This means less maintenance work for you. There is no wear on the mechanical parts.
Nickel-plated load chain
Kito is the only manufacturer in the world to nickel-plate its load chain in an electroless process. The advantages of this process are higher corrosion resistance and less wear compared to conventional load chains. The nickel-plated load chain grade T, DAT 800 N/mm² version is standard on our electric chain hoists.
High FEM classification
The FEM rule deals with the proper design of safety-relevant power units. Classification of the drive units into groups ensures that an appropriate theoretical life expectancy is achieved for the drive and hoist units.

Inverter
Dual Speed Inverter: Equipped with Electronic Overload Protection Device (OLL).
The electronic overload limiter detects an overload in the inverter and stops operation immediately.
- No-Load High-Speed Function
- Smooth start and stop
The CH meter (counter/hour meter) function allows you to check the number of starts of the hoist and the hoist’s total on-time, and carry out maintenance and inspection according to the frequency of use.
Upper/ Lower Limit Switch
Triple safety mechanism combined with the friction clutch and electronic OLL. The circuit is shut off in case of excessive lifting and lowering.

Connecting Shaft
An access section to the connecting shaft is installed outside the body so as to easily remove the suspension eye
Cooling Fan
Temperature rise inhibition by the cooling fan.
The fan attached to the end of the motor shaft feeds cooling air to the body, motor cover and regenerative resistors to prevent the temperature rise of the hoist body during operation.
Aluminium die-cast body
The body and motor frame have been integrated to make the entire body tough and compact.
Gearbox
Lubrication by the oil bath enhances wear resistance of the gears as well as a cooling effect.
Dust-protected and jet-protected (IP55).
Bottom Hook
Hook with skid-preventive hook latch (Bearing contained). Even if overloaded, the bottom hook is only gradually deformed and does not break. A notched skid-free hook latch has enhanced its durability.

Friction Clutch
