Easy and Smooth Free Chaining
The Yale PT-B provides quick and easy free chaining for taking up slack chain and positioning loads. Free chaining can be carried out with one hand, making the hoist particularly convenient when precise load positioning is required.
The design helps prevent accidental free chaining while the hoist is under load. A cast chain end stop also makes it easy to position the chain when free chaining and helps prevent the chain from entering the lift-wheel and causing a jam.
Corrosion Protection for Harsh Environments
For enhanced durability in challenging working conditions, the chain guide, chain stripper and brake components feature zinc plating or MKS coating. These corrosion-resistant finishes provide additional protection when the Yale PT-B is used in harsh or demanding environments.
Optional Internal Load Limiter
An optional internal load limiter is available to provide additional protection against overloading. When the hoist is overloaded, the handle is allowed to rotate freely, helping to prevent damage to the unit.
