Atex Certified, Spark Resistant Lever Hoist
Many industrial facilities operate in environments where potentially explosive atmospheres are present. Because of the significant risks to personnel and assets, such areas are subject to stringent regulatory and technical requirements. Tiger Spark Resistant products are specifically designed for use in explosive atmospheres and are manufactured in full compliance with ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU and the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.
These lever hoists combine lightweight construction with high durability and a proven operational record. They are ATEX certified with the following marking: Ex II 2 GD c IIC T4 IIIC T135°C, making them suitable for hazardous gas and dust environments, including Zone 1 and 2 (gas) and Zone 21 and 22 (dust).
A range of configurations is available, including corrosion-resistant SS19 bodies fitted with spark-resistant hooks, as well as PROLH lever hoists equipped with spark-resistant hooks. Overload protection is available as an option.
Available based on two Tiger lever hoist models. The ProLH and the SS19 - The ProLH comes with a standard red powder-coated finish, whereas the SS19 is white and specially designed for offshore use with a higher level of corrosion protection (among other features unique to the SS19 lever hoist).

Phthalate-free rubber content in all lever hoist handles has been verified by third-party SGS testing (Report No. CY/2018/A0264).

Under ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU, equipment intended for use in explosive atmospheres is classified by group, category, and temperature class.

All products are independently certified by CML, EU Notified Body No. 2503, in accordance with ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU.
Responsibility for determining the appropriate explosion protection classification rests with the end user, not the hoist manufacturer or supplier.
