When forklifts, telehandlers, or cranes aren't an option, lifting can become quite challenging across various industries. The Reid RML range of Materials Lifter is designed to step in where productivity, versatility, and safety are paramount. Fully compliant with Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, the RML lifter range from Reid Lifting offers effective solutions that can greatly enhance these critical aspects, making it an essential tool across diverse industries and applications.

Available in a range of lifting heights from 3000mm to 7500mm to suit your requirements, one single unit offers two versatile configurations - a conventional forward-facing material lift and also counterbalance with the ability to easily switch between the two, no tools required, you simply need to fit the Counterbalance Basket and 200kg (10 x 20kg hand-weights) of counterbalance weights (both of which sold separately).
Enables easier manoeuvrability of the unit at ground level and allows safer and easier micro adjustment when working at height.
About as loud as a footstep, this helps reduce noise emissions, benefiting 'live' worksite environments where communication with the operators at height is key. The winch also features a unique anti-wear guard that increases the longevity of the winch over alternative lifters.
The RML comes equipped with standard horizontal, rough ground transport wheels, enabling the unit to be moved safely over uneven surfaces and into vehicles.
The wide rear pulley allows even cable feed onto the winch drum, giving smooth operation and less cable stress. Quickly remove the rear pulley with just a single bolt, streamlining repair times and minimising downtime.
Standard across the range to increase service life and aid smooth operation. Alternative brands often feature plastic pulleys that can wear more easily.
Detachable parts have a high chance of getting lost; that's why the RML uses captive plunger pins, preventing lost pins that cause downtime.
Cable replacement due to tangles and premature wear is common on other material lifts. To avoid this waste and additional operating cost, we included a galvanised steel, anti-twist cable in all versions.
Simple spring-loaded pull pins allow the RML to be easily converted from forward-facing to counterbalance configuration without the need for tools.
