Stainless Steel Parrot Beak Type Drum Grab

Manufactured from Stainless Steel, these drum handlers have the capability of handling a single drum, 2 or 3 drums (steel or plastic) at the same time (model dependent).

With the added advantage of being produced entirely from stainless steel, this means the drum gripper is particularly useful when it comes to handling drums in specific industries such as Food or Drink or Chemical.

The anti-spark properties of stainless steel also mean the drum grab is ideal for use in potentially explosive or hazardous environments. An ATEX-certified version can also be supplied on request.

750kg, 1500kg and 2250kg capacity options available

  • Suitable for use with 210 litre steel drums and 'L' & 'XL' ring plastic drums.
  • Three versions are available to suit single, double or triple drums.
  • The maximum safe working load per drum is 750kg.
  • Strong 'Parrot Beak' gripping mechanism reduces dangerous and costly spillages and drum damage.
  • Hard steel gripping head for a long service life with low maintenance and operating costs.
  • Ample-sized fork pockets to suit most fork trucks, no need to risk back strain through manual handling.
  • Rubber-lined crutch support to cushion drums during transport.
  • Fully automatic in operation, reducing time and labour costs.
  • Freestanding allows quick and easy fitment on and off the forklift with heavy-duty zinc-plated screw clamps for safe securing.
  • UKCA and CE marked, supplied with a Declaration of Conformity as standard.

Drum Types

Our rim grip, parrot beak drum lifter is designed for use with steel 210L drums as well as L and XL ring plastic drums (nos. 1 and 2 in the reference image below). See our range of drum handling products, or more specifically, forklift drum lifting attachments for alternative options, or to suit other drum types and sizes.
