This short lanyard has been specifically designed for ladder restraint work where there is a need for a short lanyard to keep you closer to the ladder.
The lanyard features two attachments points which can be used to adjust the distance between yourself and the ladder when climbing.
The restraint lanyard can only be used for work restraint because there is no shock absorption built into the system. It should never be used to extend another fall arrest product.
37kN polyester webbing is used to manufacture this product which helps give the product a longer life. It is also treated with a water repellent coating which also extends the life of this product.
Fittings: harness-end; 17mm steel screwgate karabiner (RGK1) and anchorage end 55mm Aluminium Super Light double action scaffold hook (RGK11/SL).
Max arrest force: None; Restraint only not to be used as fall arrest
Length: 0.56m, can be reduced to 0.44m by using the intermedited connection eye/loop.
*14 times reduction in bacterial growth, according to ISO 20743:2013 contact with K.pneumoniae, commonly associated with healthcare infections such as E.coli.
