30 metre Fall Arrest and Rescue Block with Self-Retracting Lifeline (SRL)
The RGA30 is a 30m fall arrest block fitted with a self-retracting steel wire rope lifeline with a built-in rescue winching handle and fall indicator, very similar to the smaller Ridgegear RGA4, which has a 15 metre lifeline.
The block has an internal braking system, which, in the event of a fall, will immediately lock off and dissipate the forces subjected to the body.
The rescue winch can be activated after a fall to immediately lift a worker and recover the fallen casualty to safety.
The winch function is for use only as a recovery provision and not for access/egress.
