These Girder & Concrete Anchors are quick and easy portable anchorage solutions which can be used in the vertical and horizontal plane.
Simple to use, these anchors are operated by using two fingers to pull back the red collar. - this action retracts the retention bar, allowing the device to be inserted into the anchor hole. Once the device is in position, the red collar can be release, causing the retention bar to engage, fixing the device in position.
Suitable for use in any orientation, as long as the device is fitting in accordance with the manufacturers instructions, i.e. with as little ‘free play’ in the unit after installation. This can be achieved with a packing where the device is inserted into a thinner than optimal base material. Care should be taken to minimise shear forces on the device where possible, they are tested in shear, so are suitable for use in this way where unavoidable, but it is always useful to be mindful of reducing this.
