Towable Forklift Salt Spreader

Our towable salt spreader is designed for easy towing behind vehicles equipped with a standard ball hitch or towing pin. It's a hassle-free solution since it doesn't require any electrical or auxiliary connections (no belts, chains, electrics or hydraulic connections are required) to the forklift truck. This mechanically driven forklift salt gritter is both straightforward and highly effective for all your ice gritting needs.

This particular salt gritter is suitable for use with White Dry Rock Salt.

Spreader Features

• Supplied with both a tow eye and a ball hitch connection with an adjustable height draw bar, it can be towable by a wide range of vehicles and forklifts.
• Fitted with a flow control lever, the operator can control the coverage of the salt spread
• Up to 8m spreading width feeding from a large 190-litre capacity hopper for maximum spreading.
• A removable safety mesh guard is fitted inside the hopper to prevent accidents and injury and a protective weather cover is supplied to keep your salt dry when not in use.
• The high-quality gearbox is mechanically driven by large pneumatic tyres (no chains or belts to replace).
• The spreader hopper is manufactured from 3mm pressed steel for added durability.
• A galvanised actuator ensures a smooth even spread by reducing any clogging of the rock salt.
• The spreader is also versatile in that it can be used for the spreading of other materials, such as seeds or fertiliser.
