The TTG 'Horizontal Flange' girder clamps, manufactured in the UK, are designed for the horizontal transport of girders, metal plates, profiles etc. in the 'I' configuration / position. These are the ideal clamp for use within steel stock holders and can be used on girders up to a surface hardness of 300 Brinel.
The offset suspension lug ensures that the flange of the girder will be kept almost horizontal during transport.
The positive safety lock keeps the clamp safely locked, even before the lift begins, this allows the operator to place the clamp, lock it closed and move away from the load. The lever ensures easy opening and closing of the clamping jaw and has a “lock open“ feature.
The design allows the clamp to be used individually, however when transporting long girders, it is recommended to use a pair of clamps in conjunction with a spreader beam.
