- Green Pin Tycan Dyneema Lifting Chain
Dyneema Synthetic Soft Lifting Chain
Green Pin Tycan® Lifting Chain has been created from the world's strongest man-made fibre, Dyneema®, and is a link chain that has all the performance and flexibility of steel chain but is a fraction of the weight. It is extremely safe to use, non-corrosive, non-conductive and completely waterproof. In fact, it even floats! The soft touch and light weight makes Green Pin Tycan® easy to use, allowing quicker application and greatly reducing the potential of damage to cargo, a critical factor when handling objects with sensitive surfaces. By using Green Pin Tycan® companies can achieve greater efficiency and a safer working environment for their staff. Green Pin Tycan® Lifting Chain is available with a working load limit of 2.6 tons, 4 tons, 5 tons, 6.8 tons and 10.3 tons.
Green Pin Tycan chain is layers of webbing in a Mobius twist with stitching on each side, made up from 100% Dyneema, the world's strongest man-made fibre. Lighter than steel - yet just as strong, and even floats!
The soft touch and light weight makes Green Pin Tycan easy to use, allowing quicker application and greatly reducing the potential of damage to cargo, a critical factor when handling objects that cannot be damaged or scratched.
The Green Pin Tycan chains are made of 100% Dyneema UHMWPE fibres, which are very resistant against chemicals, and have a negligible impact on the capacity or functionality. It is highly crystalline and does not contain any chemical groups, such as aromatic rings, amide, hydroxyl or others that are susceptible to attack by aggressive agents.
100% Dyneema UHMWPE fibres do not swell, hydrolyze or otherwise degrade in water, seawater or moisture. Properties such as tension, fatigue, yarn-on-yarn abrasion and bending fatigue may improve through contact with water. This is attributed to the cooling or lubricating effect of the water.
The material must always be tested for your specific conditions.
