Easy to Use, Time Saving Safety Shackles with Quick-Release EZ-Loc Securing Collar
The Crosby G-2130E Easy-Loc® Shackle is designed to simplify shackle installation while improving safety and reliability in demanding lifting applications. Its patented Easy-Loc® collar securely locks the shackle bolt in place without the need for a traditional cotter pin, providing a fast, tool-free installation.
The innovative bolt retention system delivers dependable secondary securement, reducing the risk of dropped components during installation and maintenance. Its ergonomic design allows for simple one-handed operation, helping to improve efficiency while minimising installation time.
Manufactured to Crosby's renowned quality standards, the G-2130E is engineered for harsh industrial environments using corrosion-resistant materials and a durable, proven design. The Easy-Loc® mechanism is compatible with standard Crosby shackles and is designed to provide long-term performance with minimal maintenance.
Available in a range of working load limits, the Crosby G-2130E Easy-Loc® Shackle is ideal for heavy lifting, rigging, offshore, marine, construction, and industrial applications where safety, speed, and reliability are critical. It meets applicable industry performance and quality standards while offering a modern alternative to conventional bolt and cotter pin assemblies.
G-2130E Features
- Working Load Limit and Grade 6 are permanently shown on every shackle.
- Forged, Quenched & Tempered, with alloy bolts.
- Hot-dip galvanised (G) or self coloured (S). 85, 120, and 150-metric ton shackles are all hot-dip galvanised bows, and the bolts are Dimetcoted® and painted red.
- Fatigue rated to 20,000 cycles at 1-1/2 times the Working Load Limit (25t - 55t).
- Approved for use at -40° F (-40° C) to 400° F (204° C).
- Meets or exceeds all requirements of ASME B30.26.
- Shackles 85 metric tons and larger are individually proof tested to 2.0 times the working load limit.
- Type Approval certification in accordance with ABS Marine Vessel Rules, ABS Mobile Offshore Units, and ABS Guide for the Certification of Lifting Appliances is available. Certificates are available when requested at the time of order and may include additional charges.
- 3.1 Certification as standard available for Charpy and statistical proof test for 25t EN13889.
- All other 2130 shackles can meet Charpy requirements of 31 ft-lb (42 Joules) average at -4° F (-20° C) when requested at the time of order.
- Meets the performance requirements of Federal Specification RR-C-271, Type IVA, Grade A, Class 3, except for those provisions required of the contractor.
- Meets all performance and design requirements of ISO 2415.
