The ATEX Chain Block is by design an anti-spark chain block for use specifically in hazardous environments, and some of the key features are as follows:

Specific internal components are corrosion-protected.
Copper-plated parts include top and bottom hook assemblies, chain end anchor, chain stripper, roller guides and hand wheel.
Fitted with stainless steel hand chain material 316L.
Supplied with EN818-7 zinc-plated load chain as standard, with an option for stainless steel Grade 6 load chain upon application.
Available with Stainless Steel load chain as an option.
Body cover epoxy powder-coated with the same marine grade paint as the WH C4 SS subsea corrosion-resistant chain hoist.
