The built-in Activation Indicator is very simple to read and understand. The Green “OK” indicates the energy absorber has not been deployed, whereas the red ”!” indicates the energy absorber has been deployed. In this case lanyard must be removed from service and not be used anymore. The main function of this is to allow the user to instantly see if its energy absorber has been deployed or not. It is also an aid to the person performing the annual inspection.
