There are 4 models of wire rope fall arrestors in the Defender range (there is also a 3.3. webbing version), all of which ensure smooth and easy operations. Manufactured with galvanised wire to arrest all fall situations, along with an aluminium swivel hook with a built-in fall indicator.
The Ridgegear Defender fall arrest block range as a whole offers a lighter, more compact alternative to traditional fall arrest blocks, without losing any of their benefits. They have a sleeker design and a top swivel to help with connection.
This item must be used with a safety harness.

5mm galvanised wire cable, which makes the self-retraction operation run smoothly and unproblematic.
The top of the block contains a swivel with an opening for further attachment. Top connector (e.g. karabiner) not included, sold separately.
