Stop Series Fall Arrest Block from Globestock Safety

The Globestock Stop (formerly the G.Stop or G-Stop) fall arrestor range is manufactured in the UK using precision-machined components. The unit’s internal components are manufactured using bronze, stainless steel and aluminium. This ensures complete reliability and high performance even in the harshest of environments, making the Stop fall arrester the perfect choice of safety equipment even for offshore and mining operations.

The Stop fall arrestor offers the user full protection from falling whilst allowing complete mobility when working at height. Should a fall occur, the Stop’s steel rope will be pulled out of the unit at an accelerating rate; when a rope speed of approximately 1.5m/sec is reached, the braking system is activated. Once activated, the fall is quickly and smoothly arrested, exerting minimal force upon the user’s body. When the load is released, the rope automatically retracts back into the fall arrester.

The Globestock Stop fall arrest inertia reel can be mounted vertically above the user, in conjunction with a suitable anchorage point. It can also be used in conjunction with the Globestock Sentry tripod (formerly the G.Tripod).
