Mini Load Cell with Onboard LCD Display

Designed to replace outdated mechanical products that are still in the field, the Self Indicating Dynamometer (SID), or load cell with onboard display, as it might also be known, is a piece of load weighing equipment that has a built-in LCD display, designed for accurate close-up load monitoring applications to prevent incidents and injuries.

The SID Load Cell is a self-indicating version of the popular BlueLink, designed for precise load monitoring in applications requiring close-up measurement. This high-performance load cell is ideal for lever and chain hoists at height, as well as lifting vehicle motors and other critical loads.

Equipped with advanced microprocessor-based electronics, the SID Load Cell provides rapid read rates, exceptional resistance to industrial-level noise, and unmatched measurement stability. The Load Cell includes full-function push-button controls for:

  • Tare and preset tare
  • Selectable measurement units (lbs, kg, kN, and tonnes)
  • 100 Hz high-speed peak hold
  • Audible set-point alarm
  • Overload counter

The SID Load Cell is compatible with industry-standard Crosby G-2130 shackles and G209 shackles, and features a compact design to minimise headroom loss, measuring only 156mm from eye to eye.

Constructed from high-grade, aircraft-quality aluminium, the SID Load Cell combines lightweight design with exceptional strength, supported by a 6:1 Design Factor. Crosby SP link-style Load Cells are on average 30% lighter than comparable devices from other suppliers, making the SID Load Cell a reliable, high-performance choice for industrial load monitoring applications.
