Cabled Compression Load Cell from Straightpoint: LoadSafe Series
Crosby Straightpoint compression load cells are manufactured to the same exacting standards that define the entire Straightpoint product range.
Precision-machined from high-grade stainless steel, these load cells offer exceptional strength, durability and corrosion resistance. Optional load caps are available to help protect both the load cell and the test specimen during compression testing applications.
Their compact, lightweight design ensures ease of handling and excellent portability, making them ideal for use across a wide range of industries, including mining, energy, defence, heavy lifting and rigging, marine, shipping, and general transport applications.
LoadSafe Features
- Capacity range from 5 tonnes to 1,000 tonnes (11,000 lb to 2,200,00 lbs).
- Manufactured from high-grade stainless steel, providing excellent strength and corrosion resistance.
- Available with optional load caps.
- Environmentally sealed to IP67 or NEMA 6.
- Optional analogue outputs available.
- Lightweight and compact design.
- Supplied as standard with a 10 m cable (other lengths available on request).
- Custom versions available.
- Design validated using Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
- Design factor: 3:1.
- Operating temperature: -10°C to +50°C. (14°F - 122°F)
- Accuracy: ±0.1% of full scale.
Requires connection to the Crosby Straightpoint Handheld Plus (HHP) or External Amplifier range (SA-3420) that can be configured to provide 4-20mA output for PLC or data logger integration.
