Crosby HG226 Eye & Eye Turnbuckles

Rigging Screws with an Eye at Both Ends for Pulling and Tensioning, Also Lifting Certified

Crosby HG226 Eye / Eye Turnbuckles are all supplied hot-dip galvanised, with the end fittings quenched and tempered (the bodies are heat-treated by normalising). These Crosby HG226 turnbuckle eyes are forged elongated, by design, to maximise easy attachment in the system and minimise stress in the eye. Working load limits vary depending on your application, as do the lengths of each rigging screw available. For turnbuckle sizes 1/4" through 2-1/2", a shackle like the Crosby G209 or G2130 one size smaller can be reeved through the eye.

Key Features

Modified UNJ thread on end fittings for improved fatigue properties. Body has UNC threads.
Crosby products meet or exceed all the requirements of ASME B30.26, including identification, ductility, design factor, proof load and temperature requirements. Importantly, Crosby products meet other critical performance requirements including fatigue life, impact properties and material traceability, not addressed by ASME B30.26.
Turnbuckles are recommended for straight or inline pull only.
Lock Nuts are not included as standard, but are recommended and are also available for all sizes.
Comprehensive end fitting data provided.
Fatigue Rated.
Meets the performance requirements of Federal Specifications FF-T-791b, Type 1 Form 1 - CLASS 4, and ASTM F-1145, except for those provisions required of the contractor.
