Crosby S-2135 Carbon and S-2145 Alloy Bow Shackles

Crosby High-Capacity Bolt-Type Safety Shackles with Aluminium Painted Finish

• Supplied with embossed angle indicators.
• Meets the performance requirements of Grade 8 shackles.
• Designed with a 5:1 safety factor.
• Individually proof tested to twice the Working Load Limit (WLL).
• S-2135 and S-2145 shackles are available with an aluminium paint finish and are not galvanised.
• Operating temperature range for S-2135 and S-2145: -20°C to +200°C (-4°F to +392°F).
• Sizes from 500 t to 1500 t are fitted with anti-rotation bolts.
• Supplied with a Type 3.1 Material Inspection Certificate in accordance with EN 10204.
• DNV type approved to DNVGL-ST-0377 and DNVGL-ST-0378.
• Meets the performance requirements of Federal Specification RR-C-271H, except for those provisions required of the contractor.
• Meets or exceeds all requirements of ASME B30.26.
• The S-2135CT COLD TUFF® is available in an 85 t capacity, with an operating temperature range of -60°C to +200°C (-76°F to +392°F).
• DNV witness proof testing is available on request for all sizes and models.
• Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) is available on request for all sizes and models.
• Look for the Red Pin® – the mark of genuine Crosby quality.
• Maximum Proof Load is 2.0 times the Working Load Limit.
