Manual Man-riding Winch from Globestock

The Globestock Winch is specifically certified for lifting and lowering personnel and materials. Ideal for use in confined space applications, the winch can be quickly and easily attached to a tripod.

When used for man-riding (raising and lowering of persons) applications, it should be used in conjunction with a secondary (fall arrest and retrieval) device.

The Winch has a high mechanical efficiency and a light, smooth action, making personnel hoisting easy. The internal mechanism is case-hardened to give a long, wear-resistant life as well as toughness and durability.

The anti-run braking mechanism means that, if the winding arm is released during lifting, the winch automatically locks, holding the person/load steady until the handle is rotated again by the operator.
