Restraint Lanyards, Fixed Length & Adjustable
Collective restraint is protecting everyone in the working area against a fall and should be the preferred option while working at height, for example having a physical barrier such as a handrail. Personal restraint should only be used if collective restraint is not possible or practicable. Personal restraint while working at height is about creating a system where it is not possible for the person working at height to be able to physically reach the fall zone and therefore meaning a fall from that area is totally impossible. We therefore offer a range of personal restraint lanyards, fixed length and adjustable. Adjustable length restraint lanyards have greater versatility as they can be used in more locations; for example long length restraint lanyards mean that anchorage points can be used when there is no suitable anchorage point in the close work area. We offer restraint lanyards from quality height safety manufactures including: Miller, Sala, Ridgegear, Protecta, Yale and Tractel with even more additions to be added in the near future. Most lanyards are made from rope though we also offer made from webbing, there are two adjustment methods, buckle adjustment and sliding jaw adjustment with a choice in carabiner types.
