Pulley Wheels are usually offered as single sheave or two sheave for one or 2 ropes, they are used to deflect synthetic rope or steel cable to change its direction of load. Popular uses are for rope access techniques and also for rescue from height applications.
The swing cheek side plates on these pulleys make for simple fitting and removing of the rope, once the rope is fitted on to the sheave the rope is securely captivated in position with the fitting of a karabiner. Check to ensure that the pulley wheel is suitable for your diameter of rope, also, ensure that the sheave is suitable for the material that the rope is made from, synthetic or steel cable.
