Crane Forks
Self balancing crane forks require no manual intervention though usually have a minimum safe working load, this is a percentage of the maximum SWL for the crane fork to work correctly. Manual balance crane forks rely on the user to manually adjust the load bearing eye, thus manually positioning the centre of gravity into the centre of the forks to ensure that the load is lifted safely. There is no minimum SWL for manual balance crane forks.

Crane forks are an item of lifting equipment that are safely suspended from a lifting hook on an over head crane and enables the crane to lift and place pallets; they can be used to compliment or even replace a fork lift truck and also have many uses where a fork truck could not be used, for example when there is a lack of floor space to manoeuvre a lift truck.
