The Tiger Chain Blocks are manufactured from high quality steel offering a lightweight but robust and an exceptionally strong hand chain hoist at a competitive price.

The design of this lifting hoist has been developed over a number of years putting emphasis on operator safety and hoist durability. Such features allow the manual chain hoists to meet the requirements for use by the Ministry of Defence mining and also approved / certified to be used in Deep coal mining, meeting the requirements of British Coal and commonly being used by the the UK Coal mining industry. The Hackett hand chain hoist is also extensively used in the Offshore Oil industry. All these industries operate in extreme environments where reliability and safety are paramount and for this reason we At Liftingsafety are now selling the Hackett range of hand chain hoists.

The Hackett hand lifting hoist hoist range meets and supersedes the latest British and European Standard EN13157 looking to achieve a light load test no greater than 2% of the rated capacity of the hoist.

  • Compact design combined with strength and durability make the Tiger Chain Block extremely robust whilst easy to handle in confined spaces.
  • Specialised grease allows the units to work within temperatures ranging from -40ºc to +200ºc. This exceeds the European standard requirements for low temperature use.
  • Guarantees against any light load failures down to 2% of the rated capacity.
  • Tiger Chain Blocks can be fitted with any Yoke Grade 80 or Grade 100 component to suit specific application and lift orientation using our patent pending designed adaptor
