Covers Correct Storage, Pre-Use Checks And Inspection Of Slings. Inspection Records & Identification, I.E. Colour Code and the safe usage of slings etc.

Course consists of learning introduction to rigging store, steel ropes, chains slings etc. Using correct storage, Pre-use checks and inspection of slings.

Some features the course consists of : structure of the human frame, assessing the lift, methods of lifting, carrying out the lift, mechanical aids and PPE.

Some features of the course are : Are you fit to work at height, any medical conditions? Working at height regulation act, 05 April 2005. Assessing the dangers. PPE requirements. Emergency rescue procedure required by law. Pre-use and Post-use inspection of equipment. Choice and use of equipment, restraint, work positioning or fall arrest. Anchorage point selection.
