The LPA lanyard is formed by a Pre-Oriented Yarn webbing strap encased in a tubular polyester sheath.

The Pre-Oriented Yarn webbing has elongation properties enabling it to absorb the energy of a fall.

The tubular polyester sheath gives the LPA lanyard a very high resistance to abrasion and cutting when in contact with a sharp edge in the event of a fall.

An LPA lanyard, with respect to a standard shock-absorbing lanyard with tear-type absorber, provides several advantages for the user : more compact, lighter-weight and enhanced ergonomics ensuring comfortable use.

Satisfies the requirements of standard EN355.

Can be supplied in lengths of 1.50m, 1.75m and 2.00m and equipped at its ends with the following connectors: M10, M41, M51, M53.

Designation is defined in accordance with the example below :
2-meter LPA lanyard equipped with an M10 connector at one end and an M41 connector at the other end : LPA 2M10 M41.

Formed by a Pre-Oriented Yarn webbing strap with a width of 30 mm, having elongation properties enabling it to absorb the energy of a fall encased within a 35mm tubular sheath, Tractel blue, around the POYstrap, ensuring the following two functions :

• It protects the POY strap against abrasion and cutting.
• It provides a back-up in the event of a fall, recovering the load after the POY strap has reached its maximum elongation.
