The Sala counterweight davit arm trolley / cart system is a portable solution to move your counterweight system easily and effectively in all areas throughout a plant on level ground. It's ideal for confined space entry and emergency rescue applications and can accommodate a variety of winches and fall arrest devices.

The anchoring system includes a weight rack trolley that uses counterbalance / ballast weights (not included as standard) to provide support for the davit arm. No floor penetration is required and the complete system is a modular / knock down design that is extremely lightweight and portable making it easy and quick to set-up and can be transported from one location to another.

Counterweight systems are perfect for applications where there is no fixed base such as permanent socket and for service engineers that work on remote locations where portability and versatility are key! Highly portable, the Sala Advanced counterweight davit systems are manufactured to the highest standards from one of the worlds premium height safety manufacturers.

Product Features

• Free-standing non-penetrating base does not attach to the working surface, reducing possibility of damage.
• Weights provide the required anchorage strength (not included as standard) - variables such as davit offset will dictate number of weights.
• Adjustable legs allow system to be positioned next to taller confined space entry areas such as tanks.
• A cart with base and top plates, centre posts and screw-down knobs secures the weights to the base for absolute security.
• Built-in level indicator - Works in combination with foot levelling system for easy set-up on uneven surfaces.
• PVC davit mast sleeve liner - eliminates metal to metal contact; improving performance and ensuring smooth, consistent davit mast rotation.
• Simply slide components together and fix into place with integral detent pins for fast, simple and safe installation.
• Lightweight, corrosion resistant aluminium construction.
• IMPORTANT! - Please see the 'Counterweight Table' on the tab above for Maximum Mast Heights Allowed and Counterweight requirements.
• Self retracting Lifeline (SRL), Inertia Reel, Manriding Winch, and Brackets are all sold separately.
• Adjustable Offset Davit Mast includes a single bracket for Winch / SRL mounting. The 'One Piece Davits' come with not brackts. All additional brackets are sold separately.

Height Options

Mast extensions are NOT allowed to be used in conjunction with the 'One Piece Adjustable Offset Davit'.

The mast extensions are for use with the Adjustable Offset Davit Mast only and must NOT be used with the 'One Piece Adjustable Offset Davit Mast'. See the 'Counterweight Table' on the tab above for Maximum Mast Heights Allowed.

The 'Maximum Mast Height Allowed' is the mast height only, this excludes the addition height that the Adjustable Offset Davit Masts (8568001 & 8568006) provides.

You can have a combination of the lower mast extensions with the Adjustable Offset Davit Mast, as long as it does NOT exceed the max mast height.
