Crosby Universal Vertical Plate Clamp. Universal vertical lifting clamp IPU10 is suitable for the lifting, turning (180°) and vertical transfer of steel plates and constructions. The IPU10 lifting clamp is fitted with locking devices for both open and closed positions, which ensures complete reliability. Crosby Stainless Steel Vertical Plate Clamp.

IP10/S and IPU10/s vertical lifting clamps are suitable for the lifting, turning (180°) and vertical transfer of stainless steel plates, beams and sections. These lifting clamps are fitted with a camsegment and a pivot made of stainless steel so as to avoid contact corrosion.

All capacities are available with a Universal hoisting eye or a fixed hoisting eye.

Crosby IP Horizontal Non Marking Plate Clamp. The IPHNM-lifting clamps (NM stands for non-marring) can be used in almost all sectors of industry where during lifting or transfer no damage to the material is permitted. The jaws of the lifting clamp are made of a synthetic material with a very high coefficient of friction so that damageable plates can be held firmly and transferred in either a vertical or horizontal position. This also applies for materials with a very smooth surface, composites and coated plates or plates with a very hard (impenetrable) surface.
Non Sagging, Crosby IP Horizontal Plate Clamp. The IPHTONZ and IPHSZ horizontal lifting clamps are suitable for the lifting and transfer in horizontal position of non-sagging steel plates. The IPHTONZ/IPHSZ lifting clamps may also be used whilst hanging vertically under a spreader beam. The IPHSZ is equal to the IPHTONZ but with a higher jaw aperture.

Crosby IP Horizontal Plate Clamp with Pretention. Horizontal lifting clamp IPBC is suitable for the lifting and transfer of steel beams and plates and for sagging plates. Fitted with a pretension device on the material, causing the clamp to remain on the plate after it is placed, even in unloaded position. The IPBC lifting clamps may only be used up to a top angle of maximum 60º. The clamps may be used both individually or in pairs.

Crosby Screw Lock Beam Clamp, IPTK - IPT.

Multipurpose lifting clamp for steel beams. IPTK is suitable for application as a lifting clamp, tackle-eye clamp and as a lashing clamp. Load carrying capacity up to 15º from the centre line of the clamp. The IPTK clamp is fitted with a screwed spindle for attachment of the clamp to the beam.

Optional feature: special offshore version, model IPTKO (including 3.1 B certificate).

Also available: multipurpose beam clamp model IPTKW without hoisting eye; All other parts and functions of the IPTKW clamp are identical to those of the IPTK beam clamp.

Crosby IP Horizontal Transfer and Stacking Clamp.

Lifting clamp IPBSNZ is suitable for: Lifting, transfer and stacking of steel beams, lifting, mounting and transfer of steel constructions, as an auxiliary tool for assembling ship sections. The IPBSNZ lifting clamp is fitted with a locking device for both open and closed positions, which ensures complete reliability. It also lifts the material in such a manner that the flanges of the beam hang exactly horizontal, regardless of the width of the flanges.

 

Crosby IP Controlled Tilting Beam Clamp. The IP-STARTEC has been especially developed for lifting with the body in vertical position, controlled tilting, transportation and stacking of steel H - and I - profiles. By placing the chain guide in the appropriate position, it is straight forward to switch from lifting to tilting and back again, which shifts the centre of gravity.

Crosby Galvanised Fist Grip Wire Rope Clips.

Fist Grip Clips are forged, and the entire clip is galvanized to resist corrosive and rusting action. The double saddle design eliminates the possibility of incorrect installation. Wire rope sizes range from 3/16" through 1-1/2", all sizes have forged steel saddles. All clips are individually bagged or tagged with proper application instructions and warning information. Crosby Wedge Sockets. Includes Socket, Wedge, Pin and Wire Rope Clip.

On the Crosby S421 Wedge Sockets, the pin diameter and jaw opening allows the wedge and socket to be used in conjunction with open swage and spelter sockets. It secures the tail or "dead end" of the wire rope to the wedge, thus eliminates loss or "Punch out" of the wedge.
Eliminates the need for an extra piece of rope, and is easily installed.

Crosby Utility Wedge Sockets. The US422T Wedge socket terminations have an efficiency rating of 80%. The wedges are color coded for easy identification: Blue - largest wire line size for socket; Black - mid size wire line for socket; Orange - smallest wire line size for socket.
Cast into each socket is the name "McKissick", "Crosby" or "CG", its model number and its wire line range.

Crosby Button Spelter Sockets. Crosby Button spelter sockets are designed for use with mobile cranes, used to terminate high performance, rotation resistant ropes, and standard 6 strand ropes, with rope sizes from 1/2" to 1-1/2". Both the Sockets and buttons are re-usable.  Button Spelter terminations have a 100% efficiency rating, based on the strength of the wire rope. Easy to install assembly utilizes Crosby WIRELOCK socketing compound. Replacement buttons and sockets are available.
Crosby Mooring Sockets. Crosby Mooring Sockets are available in many sizes, for wire line 2" through 3-5/8". They are designed for today's higher strength classes of wire rope and utilise several features to stop the cone from rotating. "M-Line" socket terminations have a 100% efficiency rating, based on the catalogue strength of the wire rope. Galvanized finish. Design of bail allows for easy connection to shackles and other connecting links.

Crosby Open Spelter Sockets. Spelter socket terminations have an efficiency rating of 100%, based on the catalogue strength of wire rope. Open Grooved Sockets meet the performance requirements of Federal Specification RR-S-550D, Type A, except for those provisions required of the contractor. Available in various sizes, Forged Steel Sockets through 1-1/2", cast alloy steel 1-5/8" through 4".
Crosby National Steel Swaging Sleeves. Standard Steel Sleeve terminations have efficiency ratings as follows based on the catalogue strength of wire rope. The QUIC-PASS swaging system allows "Flemish style" wire rope terminations to be swaged in only two passes. Resulting in a 50-75% reduction in the number of passes required with conventional swaging systems. This is accomplished while maintaining currently published efficiency ratings and utilizing National Swage S-505 Standard "Cold Tuff" Steel Sleeves.

Crosby Closed Swage Sockets. Crosby Closed Swage Sockets are forged from special bar quality carbon steel, suitable for cold forming. Swage sockets incorporate a reduced machined area of the shank which is equivalent to the proper "After Swage" dimension. Crosby COLD TUFF Swage Buttons. Cold Tuff Buttons are made from Special processed, low carbon steel. "COLD TUFF " for better swageability. These swage button terminations have an efficiency rating of 98% based on the catalogue strength of wire rope.
Crosby Shank Hooks for Swaging. The Crosby S-319 swaging shank hook utilizes standard Crosby 319N shank hooks with interlocking hook tip. Each hook has a pre-drilled cam which can be equipped with a latch. They have a black oxide finish on body (Shank is uncoated). Wide range of sizes available. Working Load Limit: 0.4-14 tons. Wire Rope sizes: 3/16" thru 1-1/8". Swage shank hook terminations have an efficiency rating of 95%. Quenched and Tempered. Heat treat process allows for ease of swaging.
Crosby national hydraulic swaging machine/press.

This is a dual hydraulic system which combines the use of high speed and low pressure to bring dies into position; and the low speed and high pressure necessary for ideal swaging control. Adjustable tonnage control, so tonnage can be set to match die block Working Load Limit.

Vertical swage action which gives an equalized press on the fitting to produce uniform high quality.

Crosby Sling Saver Web Connectors.

With the Crosby Web Connectors, the increased radius of spool gives wider sling bearing surface resulting in an increased area for load distribution, therefore increasing synthetic sling efficiency as compared to standard anchor and chain shackle bows and conventional eye hooks. This allows 100% of the slings rated Working Load Limit to be achieved. This also allows better load distribution on internal fibres.

Crosby WS320A Synthetic Sling Hooks for round slings and flat web slings. Crosby S237 high performance sling connectors to suit slings of all materials. The S237 is a high performance sling connector designed to connect high performance synthetic slings of all materials. Crosby Hoist Shank Hooks. The Crosby S319 Hoist Shank Hooks from 500kg to 75 tonnes incorporate markings forged into the product which address two (2) QUIC-CHECK features. They are supplied designed with deformation indicators - two strategically placed marks, one just below the shank or eye and the other on the hook up, which allows for a QUIC-CHECK measurement to determine if the throat opening has changed, thus indicating abuse or overload.

All hooks incorporate Crosby's QUICK-CHECK marks to help in determining if throat opening dimension has changed. Each hook can be equipped with a Crosby S-4320 heavy duty stamped latch with the high cycle, long life spring.

Crosby Forged Alloy Steel, Quenched and Tempered Snap Hooks. Crosby G3315 Snap Hooks are forged alloy steel and are quenched and tempered. These hooks have pressed steel latches and stainless steel springs, bolts and nuts. For replacement latch kit, order Stock No. 9900299.
Crosby Replacement Hoisting Hooks. The Crosby S3316 Replacement Hoisting Hooks easily attaches to any chain and electric hoist with welded link load chain, roller chain or wire rope with suitable end fitting.  They have a forged swivel and are suitable for infrequent, non-continuous rotation under load. Use in corrosive environment requires shank and nut inspection in accordance with ASME B30.10-1.2.1(b)(2)(c)2000.
Crosby S377 Barrel Hoist Hooks.

Crosby S377 Barrel Hoist Hooks are forged carbon steel and are quenched and tempered. The S377 meets the performance requirements of Federal Specification RR-C-271D, Type V, Class 6, except for those provisions required of the contractor.

Crosby A378 Sorting Hook for hoisting optional with handle or with no handle. All of the Crosby A378 Sorting Hook for hoisting are forged alloy steel and as standard they are all quenched and tempered; the deep straight throat permits efficient handling of flat plates or large cylindrical shapes.

Crosby BH313 Weld-On Hoist Hooks. Our range of Crosby BH313 Weld-On Hoist Hooks have a wide range of sizes available: 1-10 Metric Ton capacity, they are forged alloy steel and are designed for attachment to mobile lifting equipment to provide a pick point for easy sling attachment and have a large weld pad. Crosby Wire Rope Thimbles. The range of Crosby G411 (Standard duty ) and G414 (Extra Heavy duty design) Wire Rope Thimbles are hot dip galvanized for increased corrosion resistance. These thimbles provide a hard eye in a wire rope lifting sling; the standard option is most suitable for light duty applications.
Crosby Forged Alloy Master Links.

Crosby A342 Forged Alloy Master Links are made from alloy Steel Quenched and Tempered, they are Individually proof tested to values shown, with CE certification. They are proof load tested with fixture sized to prevent localized point loading per ASTM A952. Many options for different sizes and working load limits from 3.4 tonne to 179 tonnes at a factor of safety 5:1. Proof test certification is sent with each Master link.  Sizes from 1/2" to 2" are drop forged and have a Product Identification Code (PIC) for material traceability, along with the size and the name Crosby and USA in raised lettering.

Crosby Cold-Tuff Master Links.

The Crosby A342CT Cold-Tuff Master Links are manufactured from alloy Steel, quenched and tempered. A master link is commonly used as the top anchorage/connector on a chain sling though they are also used a stand-alone lifting connector. They are individually proof tested at 2 times Working Load Limit with certification. The finish is inorganic zinc primer. Individually serialized and all certification shipped with each link. COLD TUFF master links are suitable for use at -50 F.

Crosby Weldless End Links. We offer our range of Crosby G340 (galvanised) and S340 (self-coloured) weld-less end links made from forged carbon steel - quenched and tempered. The G-340 from 5/8" to 7/8" meet the performance requirements of Federal Specification RRC-271D, Type XV.
Crosby Weldless Rings. Our range of Crosby S643 Weld-less Rings are supplied self-coloured (Painted, not galvanised) and are made from forged carbon steel - quenched and tempered. The S632 weld-less rings meet the performance requirements of federal specification RRC-271D Type VI. Working load limits are from 3.27 tonne to 8.62 tonne capacities.
Crosby A341 Alloy Pear Shaped Links.

Crosby A341 Alloy Pear Shaped Links are made from alloy steel and are quenched and tempered. Each A341 pear shaped load link is load tested and certified accordingly. (Sizes 1 /2", 5 /8", 3 /4", and 1" are drop forged) We offer is a good selection of sizes and with WLL of 3.15 tonne to 169 tonnes capacity.

Crosby Weldless Sling Links.

The Crosby G341 (galvanised) pear shaped load link and the S341 (self-colour) weld-less sling links are forged carbon steel (Quenched and tempered), supplied self-coloured or hot dip galvanized in capacities from 82kg to 9300kg.

Crosby Regular Nut Eye Bolts. Our Crosby G291 Regular Nut long shank Eye Bolts are supplied forged Steel - Quenched and Tempered with fatigue rated at 1.5 times the Working Load Limit (WLL) at 20,000 cycle; All These G291 eye Bolts are Hot Dip galvanized after threading (UNC). They are supplied with standard Hot Dip galvanized hex nuts and are recommended for in line pull.

Crosby Shoulder Nut Eye Bolts. Crosby G277 Shoulder Nut Eye Bolts are made from forged Steel and are quenched and tempered, they are also fatigue rated at 1.5 times the Working Load Limit (rated at 20,000 cycles) and the WLL shown her is for in line pull (not at an angle). All G277's are galvanized after threading (UNC) and are supplied with galvanised nuts
Crosby Screw Eye Bolts. The Crosby G275 Screw threaded Eyebolts are made from forged Steel and are quenched and Tempered / hot dip galvanised.
Crosby metric M-279 and Imperial Thread S-279 UNC Shoulder Type Machinery Eye Bolts. We offer the range of Crosby S279 UNC thread  and metric thread Shoulder Type Machinery Eyebolts that are made from forged Steel (Quenched and Tempered) Working Load Limits shown are for in-line pull (Not pulled at an angle) and range from 200kg to 8500kg (650lbs to 24000lbs). Crosby Pad Eyes.

The Crosby S264 Pad Eye is forged Steel, Quenched and Tempered and can be used to lift loads in the vertical plain. Approximate lifting capacities are from 650lbs (295kg) to 7200lbs (3265kg). They are forged from 1035 Carbon Steel and have excellent welding qualities.

Crosby Pad Eyes are lifting eye bolts for welding on to a suitable support structure to create a certified lifting point, they are designed to be attached to any structure, equipment, vehicles or machinery in which there is a need or desire for an eye, without the drilling and/or threading required for an threaded shank eyebolt.

Crosby Eye Nuts. The Crosby G400 Eye Nuts are made from forged Steel - Quenched and Tempered and are also hot Dip galvanized. Tapped with standard UNC class 2 threads after galvanizing though they are also available in blank (as forged) item (S-4028) or, on request, with metric threading (M-4028)

Crosby UNC and Metric Thread Swivel Hoisting Ring. All of our Crosby HR-125 Load Rings are available in UNC and Metric thread sizes with all components made from Alloy Steel which has been Quenched and Tempered. UNC threads available in sizes from 800 pounds to 100,000 pounds Working Load Limit. Metric threads are available in sizes from 400 kg to 16,900 kg and dual rated in both a 4 to 1 and 5 to 1 design factor. The Hoist Rings can Swivel through 360 degrees and pivot 180 degrees, and they come in multiple bolt lengths to meet your specific requirements.
Crosby Stainless Steel Swivel Hoist Ring. On our Crosby SS-125 and SS-125M Stainless Steel Swivel Hoist Rings, all the components are 316 stainless steel, except bolt retainers, which are made from 15-7 PH (UNS 15700) magnetic stainless steel. They are available in capacities from 400 lbs. to 25,000 lbs.(200kg to 22.3 tonne) and most importantly they are rated at 100% at 90 degree angle. Crosby High Test Chain.

Made from carbon steel, this chain has a minimum ultimate load is 3 times the Working Load Limit and is permanently embossed with CG® (Crosby Group) and 4 (Grade). Self-coloured finish and supplied in a fibre drum.

Crosby High Tensile Transport Chain.

Chain made of High Tensile Carbon Steel, with a minimum ultimate load is 4 times the Working Load Limit. Chain is permanently embossed with CG® (Crosby Group) and 7 (Grade) and has a self-coloured finish. Comes in a fibre drum as standard.

Crosby 10 Alloy Connecting Link.

The Crosby LOK-A-LOY 10 Alloy Connecting Link is used to connect grade 10 lifting chain though this chain connector is suitable for use with both Grade 80 or Grade 100 chain. The lock alloy links are Individually Proof Tested at 2.5 times the Working Load Limit (WLL) with CE certification.

Crosby Eye Chain Hook with Integrated Latch.

This Eye Chain Hook is Forged Alloy Steel - Quenched and Tempered. All these hooks are Individually Proof Tested at 2-1/2 times the Working Load Limit with certification. We recommend grinding the WLL (which is 5:1 Design Factor) off the hook when using with Grade 80 chain.

Crosby A328 Quenched and Tempered Alloy Steel Eye Grab Hook. Crosby A328 Quenched and Tempered Alloy Steel Eye Grab Hook is made from Alloy Steel - quenched and tempered. Individually Proof Tested at 2-1/2 times the Working Load Limit with certification. The use of A-328 Eye Grab Hook will result in a 20% reduction in chain capacity. When used to hook back to chain leg to form a choker, the angle of the choke must be 120 degrees or greater.
Crosby Clevis Grab Hook. Made from alloy steel - quenched and tempered. Individually proof tested at 2-1/2 times the Working Load Limit with certification. Pin locking requires no special tools. The use of A-338 Eye Grab Hook will result in a 20% reduction in chain capacity. When used to hook back to chain leg to form a choker, the angle of the choke must be 120 degrees or greater. When used as a chain shortener, minimize twist of chain and ensure chain is fully engaged in hook.
Crosby LOK-A-LOY 6 Connecting Link. The Crosby LOK-A-LOY 6 Connecting Link is forged Alloy Steel - Quenched and Tempered. Each of these chain connectors are Individually Proof Tested. They are used to connect lifting chain, usually in a lifting chain sling, they are easy to assemble and an excellent quality product.
Crosby Double Clevis Link.

This is the range of Crosby S247 Double Clevis Links; all the load pins used are Alloy Steel that is quenched and tempered and the body is body is forged and heat treated carbon steel. Crosby Alloy Chain (Grade 100).

Made from Heat Treated Alloy Steel and permanently embossed with CG (Crosby Group) and 10 (Grade). Self Coloured Finish. This Chain is 25% stronger than Grade 80 Alloy Chain.  Grade 100 Chain is Recommended for overhead lifting applications.

Crosby Master link assembly.

We offer here our range of Crosby A1345N Master Link Assemblies. Otherwise better known in the UK as a quad assembly, they are made from alloy steel and are quenched and tempered. Crosby SHUR-LOC Swivel Hooks with Bearing.

Crosby S3326 SHUR-LOC Swivel Hooks with bearing are forged alloy steel, quenched and tempered and are individually proof tested at 2-1/2 times the Working Load Limit with certification. Positive lock latch is self-locking when hook is loaded. Rated for both wire rope and grade 8 chains. Trigger repair kit available (S-4316). Consists of spring, roll pin, and trigger. S-3326 swivel hook utilizes anti-friction bearing design which allows hook to rotate freely under load. Fatigue rated.

Crosby L562A ROV shank hook with a long hexagonal body for easy of manipulation by ROV devices. The Crosby L562A ROV shank hooks have a hook identification code stamped on each hook. These shackles significantly improve the life of wire rope slings. They can be used to connect HIGH STRENGTH round slings, synthetic round slings or wire rope slings. An increase in shackle bow radius provides minimum 58% gain in sling bearing surface, increases usable sling strength a minimum of 15%.

Vertical Very Hard Materials Clamp.

IP10/H and IPU10/H vertical lifting clamps are suitable for the lifting, turning (180°) and vertical transfer of steel plates and sections with extra hard surface hardness.
These Lifting Clamps are suitable for the lifting of materials with a surface hardness up to max. 47 Rc (450HB).
These lifting clamps are fitted with a camsegment and a pivot made of extra hard wear-resistant material.

Vertical Automatic Locking Plate Clamp.

The IPU 10/A automatically locks on to the material as soon as the clamp is placed on the plate. The safety lock remains in position as the clamp closes to prevent hazardous situations. The IPU10/A clamp can be fastened in places that are difficult to reach. The minimum working load must be at least 10% of the rated WLL.

Vertical Very Thin Large Plate Clamps. IPTPU Lifting Clamps are used to lift up very thin, large steel plates from the horizontal to the vertical position and turn them. The specifc design of this model prevents the plates from 'buckling' while being lifted. Depending on the size of the plate as well as other factors, you may select either the standard IPTPU version or the special IPTPUX model, which is equipped with lateral supporting profiles. The minimum working load must be at least 10% of the rated WLL.

Heavy Lift Swivel Hoist Rings. Our Crosby HR1000 Heavy Lift Swivel Hoist Rings have a forged bail that provides easily readable "Raised Lettering" showing the name Crosby or "CG" and PIC Code for material traceability. They have greater durability providing the increased "Toughness" desired in potentially abusive field conditions and a larger opening than standard Hoist Ring bail. The top washer is colour coded for easy identification. The Working Load Limit (WLL) and Recommendation Torque value are permanently stamped into each washer. Our Crosby S5 Eye & Eye Tapered Bearing Swivel is suitable for frequent rotation under load. All swivels individually proof tested with certification and all hooks furnished with latches assembled. All jaws complete with bolts, nuts, and cotter pins. Pressure lube fitting provided.

McKissick Finished Bore Sheaves.

McKissick Finished Bore Sheaves can be equipped with bushings or bearings at an optional charge. Roll Forged sheaves are available in sized up to 72" in diameter. 14" diameter sheaves and larger are Roll Forged with Flame hardened grooves to minimum Rockwell 35C.

McKissick Common Bore Sheaves.

The McKissick Stepped hub eliminates stress failure in the weld, common in normal hub designs. The hub is pressed into place with complete metal-to-metal contact. This helps ensure an accurate alignment to the hubs axis so there's no wobble or lopping of the rotating sheave.

McKissick Bronzed Bushed Sheaves. Roll Forged sheaves are available in sizes up to 72" in diameter. McKissick Bronze Bushed Sheaves are equipped with S.A.E. 660 Bronze Bushings for cold finished shafts with "Figure 8" oil groove. For sizes not listed, McKissick Finished Bore Sheaves can be equipped with bronze bushings at an optional charge.
McKissick Roller Bearing Sheaves. Roll Forged™ sheaves are available in sized up to 72" in diameter. McKissick® Roller Bearing Sheaves are designed to operate on shafts carbonized to 660 Rockwell "C" and ground to +/- .0005 of the indicated shaft size. Some sizes are available with an optional inner race.  For sizes not listed, McKissick® Finished Bore Sheaves can be equipped with roller bearings at an additional charge.
McKissick Tapered Bearing Sheaves.

McKissick® Tapered Bearing Sheaves are designed to operate on shafts machined to +/- .0005 of the indicated shaft size. Applications should provide for tightening separator plates against bearing cones to adjust and insure proper function of bearing. For sizes not listed, McKissick® Finished Bore Sheaves can be equipped with tapered Bearings at an addtional charge.

Roll Forged™ sheaves are available in sized up to 72" in diameter

McKissick Crane / Hook Blocks.

All single point shank hooks are genuine Crosby®, forged alloy steel, quenched and tempered, and have the patented QUIC-CHECK markings (Duplex hooks are available on most sizes). All 380 Blocks are furnished standard with Roller Bearings.
Options: Bronze bushed sheaves, duplex hooks, swivel tee and shackle assemblies, sheave shrouds, anti rotation - locking device (75 tons & larger), plate steel cheek weights, third party testing with certification available upon request.
  

McKissick Easy Reeve Crane / Hook Blocks.

There is a wide range of the product available, from a capacity of 5 to 80 tons. Sheave sizes from 10" to 20" and wire line sizes from 7/16 to 1-1/4". All single point shank hooks are genuine Crosby®, forged alloy steel, quenched and tempered, and have the patented QUIC-CHECK markings (Duplex hooks are available on most sizes).

Available options: Duplex hooks (75 tons & larger), swivel tee and shackle assemblies, sheave shrouds, anti rotation - locking device (75 tons & larger), plate steel cheek weights, third party testing with certification available upon request. Larger sizes available on request.

 

Scrap Handling Blocks.

All single point shank hooks are genuine Crosby®, forged alloy steel, quenched and tempered, and have the patented QUIC-CHECK® markings. Can be used with a magnet and a drop ball for scrapyard work. Durable - allows longer continuous duty cycle. Single sheave design dual action hook (Swings and rotates). Utilizes McKissick® Roll-Forged™ sheaves with flame hardened grooves. Furnished standard with bronze bushed sheaves. Optional tapered roller bearings.

McKissick Construction Blocks.

There is a wide range of this product available, with capacities from 5 to 100 tons and larger models available upon request. Available with sheave sizes from 6" to 24" O.D. and wire line sizes from 3/8" to 1-1/4". All units are equipped with genuine Crosby® forged steel, quenched and tempered shackles that contain the patented QUIC-CHECK® markings. Design Factor 4 to 1. All 680 Series Blocks are furnished standard with bronze bushings. All 680 blocks 16" and larger, are furnished with McKissick® Roll Forged™ sheaves with flame hardened grooves. Sheaves are lubricated through centre pin, with a separate lube channel to each sheave.

Easy-Lift Overhead Bridge Crane Blocks.

Removable housing allows block to be reeved without complete disassembly, on Model 752 only. Sheave pitch diameter is a minimum of 16 times rope diameter on standard sizes. All single point shank hooks are genuine Crosby, forged alloy steel, quenched and tempered, contain the patented QUIC-CHECK markings and come with a world class latch that integrates with hook tip. Sheave bearings are maintenance free and sealed for life (10,000 hrs.). Ability to attach optional anti two-block device (Model 752 only). Available with shackle as lower connection point. Ultimate load it 5:1 times the Working Load Limit.

Top swivelling overhaul balls.

The top swivel design on the UB500 assures the ball remains stationary if the wire line spins. The swivel incorporates a sealed roller thrust bearing together with a greased fitting for easy lubrication. Each ball can be equipped with the new McKissick® US-422T Wedge Socket which can be easily adjusted to fit various sizes of wire rope by changing the wedge (Ensure that correct wedge is used for selected wire rope size).
All hooks used on UB500 Overhaul Balls (S320, S320N, & S1316A) are forged from alloy steel. The S320 & S320N hooks come complete with latches. The S320 hook (PL latch) and the S320N hook (S4320 latch), with proper latch attached; may be used for personnel lifting when secured with the proper device.

Non Swiveling Overhaul Balls.

All hooks used on UB500 Overhaul Balls (S320, S320N & S1316A) are forged from alloy steel. The S320 and S320N hooks come complete with latches. Each ball can be equipped with the new McKissick US-422T Wedge & Socket which can be easily adjusted to fit various sizes of wire rope by changing the wedge (Ensure that correct wedge is used for selected wire rope size).

 

Light Champion Snatch Blocks. The Hooks on the McKissick Light Champion Blocks are made from Forged alloy and heat treated. They have Forged steel swivel tees, yokes and shackles. The Block's opening feature permits insertion of rope while block is suspended from gin-pole.  Hook and shackle assemblies on 4-1/2" through 14" sizes can be interchanged.  Can be furnished with bronze bushings or roller bearings. 3" thru 18" 418 and 419 blocks have exclusive bolt retaining spring to assure no lost bolts.  Can be furnished with SS-4055 hook latch.  Pressure lube fittings. Fatigue rated.  3" - 10" feature dual rated
 
Champion Snatch Blocks. On these blocks, the hooks and side plates are forged alloy steel and heat treated, the shackles and yokes are forged and heat treated steel, all other parts are forged. Side plates are designed to eliminate possibility of rope jamming. Can be furnished with bronze bushings or sealed roller bearings. Opening feature permits insertion of rope while block is suspended from gin-pole. Can be furnished with S-4320 hook latch. Pressure lube fittings. Fatigue rated. Hook and shackle assemblies can be interchanged. Blocks furnished with dual rated wireline sheaves. Fatigue Rated.
McKissick Super Champion Snatch Blocks. Manufactured with drop forged, heat treated swivel hook or swivel shackle. The Blocks can be furnished with bronze bushings or roller bearings and also with a hook latch. Hook and shackle assemblies on 8" through 14" sizes can be interchanged. Pressure lube fittings. 8" thru 10" 430 and 431 blocks have exclusive bolt retaining spring to assure no lost bolts. 8" and 10" models furnished with dual wireline sheaves.   Fatigue Rated.
McKissick All Alloy Snatch Blocks.

The Entire block is made from heat treated alloy steel. Use of heat treated alloy. It also has 60% of the weight of blocks of comparable capacities. It is available with a bronze bushed or roller bearing sheaves. 416 with Hook; 417 With Shackle; 402 Tail Board

Snatch Block Features: Hook and shackle assemblies can be interchanged; Pressure lube fittings. Can be furnished with S-4320 hook latch.
Blocks furnished with dual rated wireline sheaves.  Fatigue rated. Easy opening feature of “Champion” blocks has been retained when designing this unit.

Lebus Heavy Duty Snatch Blocks.

Supplied with Heavy Duty Components, the Hook is Forged Alloy Steel, Quenched and Tempered. This Block was designed for fast, efficient line changes. All parts of this unit are forged.  Beaded side plate prevents rope from jamming. Available with hook, shackle or tailboard (pin only). Can be furnished with hook latch. Blocks furnished with dual rated wireline sheaves. Fatigue Rated.

Lebus General Purpose Snatch Blocks. On these Lebus Snatch Blocks the Hook is Forged Alloy Steel, Quenched and Tempered. All parts of the block are forged. The Block can easily be opened and closed in seconds without the use of tools and is available with hook, shackle or pin only (tailboard).  Either wire or manila rope may be used. Can be furnished with hook latch. The blocks are furnished with dual rated wireline sheaves.
Heavy Duty Utility Snatch Blocks. Supplied with Forged steel sheaves, bronze bushings, and drop forged steel hooks. Complete with a Pressure lube fitting. Self-locking style. Locks with hook load. Can be furnished with S-4320 hook latch. Furnished with dual rated wireline sheave.
Oilfield Servicing- Tower/Derrick Hoist Blocks. These blocks have a painted and galvanized finish. The 8" and 10" blocks are furnished with dual rated wireline sheaves. They have forged steel swivels, tees, yokes and the shackles are quenched and tempered. The recessed side plate design reduces the gap between the sheave rim and the side plate and allows the sheave assembly to be captured in the block if loss of centre pin occurs. The sheave is lubricated through the centre pin for easy maintenance.
Oilfield Servicing, Tubing Blocks. A revolutionary new retention system eliminates conventional threaded nut and potential problems associated with thread corrosion. Exclusive E-Z opening guards, no bolts to pull out and lose provides fastest possible exposure of sheave cluster for quick reeving and extremely short overall length, extra weight and excellent balance makes for fast non-wobbling falls. Also features a duplex hook for easy elevator operation, locks in eight positions.

Oilfield Servicing, Well Logger's Blocks.

Made from alloy aluminium housing for maximum strength and minimum weight. Conductor cable ONLY is recommended for use with Well Logger's Blocks. These are made for use in high speed well logging, perforating, etc. Designed with an extra-large double row, with a pre-adjusted sealed tapered bearing. Quick opening pin for fast string-up, light weight for easy handling.

Oilfield Servicing, Crown Blocks.

These Oilfield Crown blocks are built using McKissick Roll-Forged sheaves with flame hardened grooves. They are designed with double row pre-adjusted sealed tapered bearings mounted on a steel shaft and heavy centre and side plates for proper support of centre pin. They are supplied in pre-assembled units for rapid attachment to crown assembly for installation on derrick. On multiple sheave assemblies, one sheave can be grooved for sand line on request.

Shoulder Rivet Eye Bolts.

The range of Crosby S276 Shouldered Rivet Eye Bolts are made from forged steel that is quenched and tempered. There are 18 options to choose from with different shaft diameters and lengths.

Remember: these are not threaded!

McKissick Style Drilling Blocks.

These blocks are supplied complete with double row, pre-adjusted tapered bearings with seals. They contain McKissick® Roll-Forged API Profile sheaves with flame hardened grooves.

Features: Separate lubrication channel to each sheave, easy opening guards for quick string-up (no bolts to pull out and lose), each block is individually serialized for full traceability and furnished with certificate of conformance. The hook is spring loaded with hydraulic snubber. 

RP Style Oilfield Drilling Blocks.

These blocks are supplied complete with double row, pre-adjusted tapered bearings with seals. Blocks contain McKissick® Roll-Forged API Profile sheaves with flame hardened grooves.
Features: Easy opening guards for quick string-up (no bolts to pull out and lose), bail design to adapt to comparable capacity drilling equipment, each block is individually serialized for full traceability.

Western Regular Wood Blocks for Manila Rope. Regular wood block with laser cut side plates, with Grade 5 bolts secured in place with lock washers and staked nuts. Bronze brushed sheaves with larger bearing diameter for extended block life. Beckets furnished on all blocks.
Western Steel Shell Blocks for Manila Blocks. Manila block with laser cut side plates. Uses grade 5 bolts secured with lock washers and staked nuts. Bronze brushed sheaves with larger bearing diameter ensure an extended block life. New style hanger for fitting attachment.
Western Loose Side Hooks with Latch for Manila Rope. Loose side hook with laser cut side plates. Uses grade 5 bolts secured with lock washers and staked nuts. Bronze brushed sheaves with larger bearing diameter ensure an extended block life.
Western Blocks For Synthetic Fiber Rope with Loose Swivel Hooks. These blocks are built to carry the increased loads of synthetic fibre ropes. All hooks are heat-treated alloy steel. You can now use a smaller size rope, and in turn a smaller block, providing capacities which were previously not possible.
Western 5" Steel Blocks for Wire Cable.

Steel blocks For 3/8" diameter wire cable with sheave sizes of 3 x 3/4 x 3/8".

Western Snatch Blocks For Manilla Rope.

New style blocks feature higher working load limits, made from painted or galvanized steel with replaceable wood bumpers. The laser cut side plate opens for easy insertion of wire rope. The design incorporates exclusive bolt retaining sprint to assure no lost bolts, plus utilizes secondary retaining pin.

Features: Bronze brushed sheaves with larger bearing diameter for extended block life, utilizes Crosby "N" style hooks with integrated latch, lubricated centre pin, 10" and 12" sizes utilize steel sheaves.

Western gin wheel blocks with drop forged swivel latch hooks for manila rope.

Used for light housing by roofers and contractors and is furnished with drop forged swivel latch hooks.

Western Diamond & Oval Pattern Regular Wire Rope Blocks.

Rope blocks with laser cut painted side plates (these can be furnished as galvanized upon request). Complete with grade 5 bolts secured with lock washers and staked nuts. All sizes of the block feature bronze brushed steel sheaves with larger bearing diameter for extended. New style hanger for fitting attachment; available with hanger only (no fitting).

Western Horizontal Lead Blocks.

This unit is available painted or galvanized, fitted as standard with steel sheaves, self lubricated and bronze bushed.

Western Vertical Lead Blocks.

These blocks are available painted or galvanized and are fitted with steel sheaves as standard. Every unit is supplied self lubricated and bronze brushed.

Western Hinged Lead Blocks, available as painted or galvanised units.

These lead blocks have self-lubricated bronze bearings. They are available painted or galvanized. The base plates are not drilled.

 

Subsea Flourescent Eye Hooks. The range of Crosby ROV Sub-sea Fluorescent Eye Hooks are designed specifically for use in offshore installations and marine applications. They have the hook identification code stamped on each hook, all quenched and tempered and are fitted with the Crosby QUIC-CHECK® angle indicators forged into the top eye and deformation and angle indicators forged on the hook. They also have a fluorescent yellow finish for high "sub-sea" visibility.

Forged Alloy Master Link Assembly. The Crosby A-345 Forged Alloy Master Link Assembly is made from Alloy Steel and is supplied by Crosby quenched and Tempered. The A345 is also known as a Quad Assembly and is commonly used as the top anchorage point in a chain lifting sling. Each Quad assay is Individually proof tested to twice the WLL and duly certified.
Nut Ring Bolts.

The Crosby G-257 Shoulder Nut Ring Bolts are forged eyebolt that is manufactured from forged steel and are quenched and tempered. They are Hot Dip galvanized (Bolt, Nut and ring) and UNC threaded after galvanising.

The Diameter of ring stock is same as shank diameter and the ring eyebolts are supplied in two safe working loads, 450kg (1200lbs) and 1000kg (2200lbs).

Crosby Closed Spelter Sockets. Available in various sizes, with Forged Steel Sockets thru 1-1/2", and cast alloy steel sockets 1-5/8" thru 4". Spelter socket terminations have an efficiency rating of 100%, based on the catalogue strength of wire rope. Ratings are based on recommended use with 6 x 7, 6 x 19, or 6 x 37, IPS or XIP (EIP), XXIP (EEIP), RRL, FC, or IWRC wire rope.
Cable Pulling Machine Y08, Y16 and Y32. A Quality Tractel Alternative.

The wire Rope used for lifting and pulling fused and tapered at one end and the other end is terminated with a Crosby eye hook in heart shaped thimble secured by a mechanical splice. The Yaletrac is our reasonable quality alternative to the Tractel Tirfor products which we also offer. We consider it to be a good second best. Yaletrac® cable pullers feature a lightweight, compact, high strength aluminium housing, smooth contour design with a large, flat bottom surface for increased stability in horizontal and vertical working positions.

Available in 800kg, 1600kg and 3200kg capacities.

Camlok Thin Sheet Horizontal Plate Lifting Clamp. The Camlok THK Clamp has a jaw that pivots in the reverse direction to our normal horizontal clamps and is designed to lift and handle thin sheet plate that tend to sag when lifted. The reverse jaw feature ensures that the clamp grip increases the more the plate deflects under its own self weight. Clamps are used in pairs with a 2 legged chain sling (maximum included angle not to exceed 60º). Two pairs of clamps supported from a lifting beam must be used when handling long plates. Single plates only can be lifted.

Bolt-down I beam lifting plate fitted with choice of eyebolts, can be used as a temporary or permanent lifting or rigging / man-riding point. For materials lifting and man-riding (fall arrest) applications. All bespoke and made to customers specification. This is a unique design with the top clamp the same length as the plate; thus impossible to rotate as may be the case with 4 x individual connectors on each corner. Supplied with EC declaration of conformity. The eye bolt shown is for illustration only as we offer with a choice of eye connectors that both swivel and rotate.
Remote controlled hydraulic release shackles, available in capacities from 150 tonne to over 1000 tonnes and over 2000m operation distance.
