The William Hackett SS-C4 chain block has been developed to work in the harsh offshore environment both for top side and subsea applications. The SS-C4 chain block meets and exceeds the requirements of international standards:

• British and European Standard BSEN13157:2004 + A1:2009
• American Standard ASME B30.16.16-2012
• Australian Standard AS1418.2-1997
• South African Standard SANS 1594: 2007

Features

• Range: 500kg - 20 tonnes.
• Light Load Capability: Tested and certified at 2% of the chain block rated capacity.
• Construction and Design: Minimises the ingress of contaminates to the internal mechanism and brake surfaces.
• Stainless Steel Pawl Spring: Secured internally to reduce risk of damage.
• Stainless steel fixing: Hook housing nuts and bolts and casing nuts.
• Load Chain: Fully complies with international standards BSEN 818-7 (GrT (8) and JISB8812 GrV (10).
• Fleeting/Cross Hauling: Tested and certified for fleeting or cross hauling applications up to 45°C from the vertical without deration.
• Corrosion Protected: Internal protected components including the brake, ratchet gear and pawl utilising zinc flake base coat giving up to 500 hours corrosion protection.
• High Performance Waterproof Grease: Used throughout the SS-C4 chain block enhancing the corrosion protection.
• Overload Limiter: available as an option on request.
